This hunting lease is leased and not available. This property for lease is located in Wood County, WV not too far from the Ohio River. This is one of the better areas to hunt in WV. This property should have great potential due to the fact it lays right on a golf course. The deer sign here was very plentiful. Heavy deer trails all over the property and plenty of buck sign to boot. Also, a good amount of turkey sign. The property is a hilly/steep property consisting a mostly mature hardwoods. There were plenty of good benches/flats to hunt and one major ridge line. The owners have not had this property very long, so they are unsure of surrounding hunting pressure. They have put up some posted signs and cables to try and deter ATV riders (which you can see evidence of). I think they will be happy to have someone on the property to help out with this issue as well. I have no doubt this can be a great property to hunt with a little bit of work. The deer traffic should be exceptional on this property. You must park in the Club House parking lot to access the property. You will see steel cables with orange ribbon. This marks where I entered the property. You can go to your left or to your right and hit some old roads that will take you around the majority of the property. Camping is not permitted, ATV use for hunting purposes can be accepted if you work with the landowner.
